Welcome to the CRC Sydenham Sports Academy

The Catholic Regional College Sydenham Sports Academy is committed to empowering the next generation of sporting excellence by providing a high-performance environment that supports both academic and athletic success. Our program is designed for motivated students who are passionate about pursuing excellence in the sporting industry while continuing their senior secondary school studies.

Application Timeline: Year 11 2026

  • Applications Open: Friday, 25 July 2025. The application form will be available via this website page
  • Applications Close: Friday, 8 August 2025
  • Interview Date (if shortlisted): Wednesday, 20 August 2025 between 9:00am – 10:30am

 

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, you must:

  • Be enrolled in Year 11 for the 2026 academic year at Catholic Regional College Sydenham. Note: "Enrolled" means you have received and formally accepted an offer of enrolment;
  • Have attended the CRC Sydenham Sports Academy Information Seminar at your current college, presented by Andrew Mollica, CRC Sydenham Sports Academy Director; and
  • Have discussed this pathway with your current Year 10 Coordinator to ensure it aligns with your academic and career goals.

 

Required Supporting Documents

Please be advised that when applications open, you will need to upload the following as part of your application:

  • A reference letter from your current Year 10 Coordinator, outlining your suitability for the program;
  • Your Year 10 Semester One Academic Report; and
  • A reference letter from your current Coach or Employer
